The University of Alabama
The University of Alabama is a member of the Southern Center for Communication, Health & Poverty. Dr. Nancy Rhodes and Dr. Roskos-Ewoldsen serve as co-principal investigators on the adolescents and smoking project. In addition, their graduate students provide invaluable support with data coding and analysis. The University of Alabama’s subcontract covers several areas. First, they are conducting the content analysis of a multitude of public service announcements about smoking. Second, they are vital contributors to generating the questionnaires and methods for the large field data collections. Third, they will be co-writing many of the papers from this grant and providing expertise in data analysis and data management.
